WidgetGrid Privacy Policy


WidgetGrid is a new way to convert Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Notion Database & Airtable Database into data-driven widgets on the home screen. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, ‘WG’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to WidgetGrid, and ‘you’ refers to you, the user of the Services.

Data Collection


Account Information

When you sign in with Apple or Google, your email address and display name are propagated to the WidgetGrid app. They are shown within the app and stored as WidgetGrid app account information. No other WidgetGrid app users can view this information via WidgetGrid app.

Account Required To Access Source Data

When you authenticate source providers including Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Notion Database & Airtable Database, and you authorise WidgetGrid to access source data. WidgetGrid will store your email address and display name as information of the project, and store authorisation tokens to load source data via main app and widgets. No passwords of those accounts are stored. If tokens are expired, you need to authorise WidgetGrid again.

Source Data

All source data are stored in device. If the project is shared, those source data are stored in WidgetGrid server and delivered to the collaborators' device.

App Data

All app data including project list, project title, project owner, preferences, etc. are stored in device. If the project is shared, those metadata are stored in WidgetGrid server.

Location Data

WidgetGrid uses location data to get the current weather of the current location only. No location data is collected.

Interaction and Crash Data

We collect product interaction and crash data for improving user experiences. 

User Support

If you contact WidgetGrid User Support, any personal data you may share with us is kept only for the purposes of researching the issue and contacting you about your case. 

Information we may share


The instances where WG may need to share your data 
  • To meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request. 
  • To enforce applicable Terms, including investigation of potential violations. 
  • To detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues. 
  • To protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of WG, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law. 
  • To submit a request to send push notification to devices via a third party server. 

Data Retention


We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant service, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. 

Keeping Your Information Secure


We work hard to protect you from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold, including: 
  • We review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorised access to our systems 
  • We restrict access to personal information to those who need that information in order to process it. Anyone with this access is subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations. 

When this policy applies 


This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by WidgetGrid. This Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy. 

Changes to this policy 


We change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We always indicate the date the last changes were published. If changes are significant, we’ll provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes).
